We learnt so much about the cocoa plant, the flowers, the beans and how they are processed.
The beans go through quite a complicated process before they are turned into cocoa butter.
We also got to see some real cocoa seed pods and hear the beans rattling around inside them.
We made quite a few different types of chocolate and decorated them with various toppings: rose petals, goji berries, banana chips.. and some of us even used a piping bag to add some white chocolate swirls!
The whole school smelt of chocolate…Mmmmm..
