As part of their Science Topic – taught by Mrs Russell – on ‘animals’, Year 1 children investigated minibeasts in our garden. They managed to find worms, woodlice, beetles, spiders, centipedes, ants and (lots!) of greenfly!
They were very careful to catch their minibeasts tenderly, and released them back where they found them. Brilliant Year 1!
