March 13 2017 • All day

STEM is an exciting new way of looking at the combined sciences as we look forward to children become our future scientists, technicians, engineers and mathematicians and using the skills together to continue to develop and improve our world.
In the week commencing 13th March, to tie in with the start of the Cambridge Science Festival at the university, Years 3-6 will be undertaking a STEM week, in which they will be undertaking a number of STEM based activities and challenges, as well as having visitors (Y3-5) and going out on a trip (Y6).
Please do also have a look at the Cambridge Science Festival website to find out about all the many activities for children that the university are putting on, both in after school and weekend slots, some of which do need booking.
The aim of the festival and our week of activities at school is to inspire our future generation with the excitement of working in the STEM sector and the use of creativity in designing solutions in a rapidly changing world.
